Next Meeting of LA Walks: Tuesday, October 8th, 5:00 - 6:00. Meetings are held at the Mesa Public Library (upstairs meeting room). Future meetings: 10/8/13, 11/12/13, 12/10/13, 1/14/14, 2/11/14, 3/11/14, 4/8/14, 5/13/14, 6/10/14, 7/8/14, I8/12/14 (second Tuesday of each month). --> We welcome public participation in projects such as working pedestrian issues through the County, researching design standards, working with public and private partners to implement better designs for walkability, producing material for the web site, etc.

Meetings of the Los Alamos County Transportation Board: First Thursday of the month at 5:30. Call the County's KanDu Center at 311 or 662-8075 for meeting locations. Transportation Board meetings are open to the public, and public comment on transportation-related issues is welcomed.
